Who we are
FieldWorkReport provides maintenance and job completion reporting tools for UK tradespeople and small property maintenance businesses. This policy explains how we process personal data when you use our website and related services.

What we collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may process:
- Account details — name, email address and authentication identifiers from Supabase.
- Company profile — business name, contact details, logo and team members you choose to store.
- Job and report content — customer names, addresses, photos, findings and signatures when you save work to your account.
- Usage and support — messages you send us and basic technical logs needed to operate the service securely.
Free reports without an account
When you use the free report wizard without signing in, your report content is processed in your browser to build a PDF. We do not upload that content to our servers by default for anonymous sessions.
You control what you type, photograph and sign. Downloaded PDFs are stored on your device — keep them secure if they contain customer personal data.
Accounts and the mobile app
If you create an account, authentication is handled by Supabase. Profile, company and job data are stored in the same database used by the FieldWorkReport mobile application, protected by row-level security so each company can only access its own records.
Signing in on web and mobile uses the same account. Deleting or correcting data in one place should apply across services once fully supported in product settings.
How we use data
We use personal data to:
- Provide, secure and improve the report wizard, dashboard and APIs.
- Authenticate users and enforce subscription and plan limits.
- Respond to support requests and important service notices.
- Meet legal obligations and prevent misuse of the platform.
We do not sell your personal data. Marketing email will only be sent with appropriate consent where required.
Retention
We keep account and job data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, disputes and legal compliance. You may request deletion subject to limits where we must retain records by law.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object and data portability, and to lodge a complaint with the ICO.
