About this page
This page is for users of the FieldWorkReport mobile app and website (developer: Fieldhouse Studio Ltd). It explains how to request that your account and associated data be deleted.
You do not need to sign in to read these instructions. Deletion applies to the same FieldWorkReport account used on iOS, Android and the web.
How to request that your account be deleted
Use one of the methods below. In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are completed within 30 days of us verifying that the request comes from the account holder.
Option 1 — in the FieldWorkReport app
- Open the FieldWorkReport app and sign in with the account you want deleted.
- Go to Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read the warning, then tap Delete account again to confirm.
Option 2 — by email
- Email hello@fieldworkreport.co.uk from the email address on your FieldWorkReport account.
- Use the subject line: Delete my FieldWorkReport account.
- Include your full name and state that you want your account and associated data deleted.
- We may ask you to confirm the request before we delete anything.
Email us at hello@fieldworkreport.co.uk.
Data we delete
When we delete your account we remove the following associated data from live systems:
- Sign-in details — email address, password or other authentication identifiers.
- Profile — name, phone number (if provided) and team role.
- Jobs assigned to you — job details, customer and property information, findings, work completed, materials, before/after photos, signatures and stored PDF reports.
- If you are the only remaining member of your company: the company profile, logo, contact details and remaining company job data.
If other people still belong to the same company, we delete your user account and jobs assigned to you. We keep the company record and data that belongs to remaining team members so they can continue using FieldWorkReport.
Data we keep, and for how long
We may keep the following after account deletion:
- Payment and subscription records needed for tax, accounting or disputes — typically up to 6 years, as required under UK law. Google Play and Stripe may also keep their own billing records.
- Encrypted backups of live data — removed within 30 days of deletion.
- Limited security logs used to prevent abuse — retained only as long as needed for that purpose, then deleted or anonymised.
- Company and job data belonging to remaining team members, if you were not the last person in the company.
- Copies of reports, photos or PDFs you already downloaded, printed or sent to customers — we cannot delete files stored on your device or on someone else’s.
- Anonymous website statistics that cannot identify you.
If you used the free website report tool without creating an account, the report itself is not stored on our servers. You may still ask us to delete any download metadata linked to your email.
Subscriptions and billing
Deleting your FieldWorkReport account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed through Google Play or the App Store.
To stop future charges, cancel the subscription in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions) or in your Apple ID subscriptions before or after you delete the account. Web billing can be cancelled from the FieldWorkReport dashboard while the account is still active, or by emailing us.
After your account is deleted
Deletion cannot be undone. You will not be able to sign in, recover jobs or restore branded reports from FieldWorkReport.
You can create a new FieldWorkReport account later with the same email, but it will be empty.
